This is a fun filled group piano class designed for young beginning students, where we will learn to rhythm tap, reading notes, sing solfège, and play ensemble songs. Each class is designed to inspire student creativity, and engaging activities. Come join our dancing fingers!

Miss Rebecca meets with the student to establish rapport and basic knowledge of the instrument. Learning materials can be chosen and ordered.

This naturally small instrument fits so well into their small hands! JAMaROO Kids is excited to offer this Intro to Ukulele class led by Teacher Sohnjay. They bring so much joy and laughter to the classroom that your children will be sure to instill a love for music for years to come in this small group class! Children will hear samples of this music, learn about its typical instrumentation, learn to sing a song from this genre, and learn dance moves…which we will then try out as a group! We will also learn about key artists from each genre, and listen to and discuss one of their pieces. In addition, children will also be introduced to basic concepts of music theory, such as rhythm, tempo, dynamics, and timbre. Activities such as clapping out/playing basic rhythms by reading notes, identifying dynamics within a piece of music (piano- soft, forte- loud), learning and singing solfege, and identifying musical instruments within pieces will be regular parts of this class! Main Class Components: -basic theory concepts (rhythm, tempo, pitch, dynamics, timbre) -Introduction to many different genres of music -learning and performing classic dances/dance moves -learning and singing songs as a group This is a class children will work on developing and Strengthening the following: Fine motor skills, Speech and language skills, Cognitive development Creative thinking, Problem solving, Team work, Concentration, Listening Skills, Impulse Control Ensemble Singing, Matching Temp, Rhythm and Pitch 15 MINUTE EXPLORATION TIMES: We are eager to build community together as we open our JAMaROO Kids Club! Exploring the possibility of piano lessons/

Camp runs Monday-Friday, July 14 - July 25, from 9:00am to 4:00pm. Early drop-off is available from 7:30-8:15am; Late pick-up is available until 5:30pm. Please see the options for pricing. No previous experience is necessary. This camp is for campers that will be entering grades 1, 2, and 3 in the 2025 - 2026 school year (ages 6-9). Assessments (all campers must attend) will be held on the first day of camp. There will be a performance with limited seating the weekend of July 26 / July 27 (exact time / date TBD). Each young performer will receive 6 complimentary tickets in order to invite parents, family, or friends to see their show. Tickets are not available for purchase to the general public, and no additional tickets can be requested. ABOUT THE SHOW: Who or what is that shadowy figure playing the piano in the school music room after dark? Several students and Deputy Barney set out to solve this musical mystery with surprising results. Phantom Of The Music Room features songs with clever texts set to musical classics by Beethoven, Haydn, Chopin, Dvorák, Sousa, Grieg, and others. Approximate show length: 25-30 minutes

In 1969 the Swampers founded Muscle Shoals Sound Studio and within months they were attracting hit recording artists from around the world who came to them in search of the signature sound that forever changed American music. Through the generosity of Beats Electronics the legendary studio has been authentically restored. From the vintage equipment in the control room upstairs to the orange carpet in the Swampers' party room downstairs, the building looks exactly as it did during those magical years between 1969 and 1978. Peek into the bathroom where Keith Richards put the finishing touches on Wild Horses or sit at the piano that Paul Simon played on Kodachrome.

This is not like having dinner at a restaurant as our property is not open to the public. This is a private event made just for those who book this experience. When you arrive, you will be greeted by a parking attendant on horse back. You will then have the opportunity to explore our horse stables or enter the dining area for dinner. You will have dinner, desserts and live piano entertainment and then be taken by horse-drawn carriage or wagon to our fire pit where you can roast s'mores at your leisure. When you are finished, you will be taken back to the parking area by horse-drawn wagon.

Do you have a budding musician on your hands? Register them in an online session with one of our teachers from Anahid Syourapian Piano School! Kids (ages four and up) can try their hand at learning the piano through a variety of activities and exercises for all levels and abilities. The teachers customize their lessons based on each individual students' needs and goals, so even newbies can give it a go. Kids will learn jazz, pop and other styles in music, but the main concentration will be in classical music. Piano lessons will focus on classical music, ear training and theory. The teachers will love to share their experiences, knowledge and patience with their students. Each lesson will allow both teachers and students to get to know each other so teachers can plan their lessons accordingly! Note: You need a keyboard or piano for this lesson.
